Welcome Quote

We are a Kamloops Counselling company that believes that increasing self-awareness is the beginning step in becoming a healthier, happier, and richer human being.

Our goal is to provide a safe and gentle space for people to explore their personal stories and histories. Allowing people to resolve past traumas and grow into the person they desire to be.

We include a unique approach with our services  -  Equine Assisted Counselling. Horses have an intrinsic understanding of our natural state of being. In every interaction, horses are authentic and honest. Their lives are based on respect, boundaries, and trust. It is through these experiences that we begin to deepen our understanding of ourselves.

We provide individuals with a multi-disciplinary approach designed to best fit the unique lifestyles, issues, and goals of the individual. We incorporate talk therapy, neurobiologically sensitive approach, somatic experiencing, and other evidence-based therapies.

We work across populations, from children, youth, and adults to first responders, veterans, and families. We are experienced in working with trauma histories and are approved through the Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP),First Nations Health Authority (FNHA),have occupational awareness training through B.C. Professional Firefighters Association (BCPFFA),and have completed NMT Training Certification up to the Phase 1 level (see NMT BrainMap)

Our services include: online and in-office Talk Therapy, Equine Assisted Counselling, and Nature-Based Therapy - all right here in Kamloops. We strive to provide treatment plans specific to the values, beliefs, and needs of each individual. We believe that helping to improve the mental health and well-being of our clients has a positive effect on the health and happiness of their families and our community
